Before - Foyer/Entryway

The area just beyond the entryway was previously underutilized, with a mix of disconnected pieces that lacked purpose and cohesion. It functioned more as a pass-through than a defined, usable space.

After

Without any construction, we reimagined this area entirely through layout, placement, and selective additions. Existing pieces, including the mirror, were repositioned within the home, and we introduced a few budget-conscious furnishings to create a more intentional and inviting setup.

By refining scale, improving flow, and giving the space a clear function, this once-overlooked area is now a welcoming extension of the home. More importantly, the space has become a favorite place for the client and her partner to gather.

Before - Living Room

The original living room felt disconnected and incomplete, with furniture that lacked cohesion and a layout that didn’t fully take advantage of the space. Key pieces—including the existing sectional and large IKEA bookcase—needed to remain, which required a more thoughtful approach to reworking the room.

After

Without replacing these anchor pieces, we refined the layout to create better flow and defined zones within the space. We repositioned the sectional, relocated the bookcase, and introduced a properly scaled rug to ground the seating area. Additional furnishings—including accent chairs, side tables, and layered decor—were carefully selected to balance the proportions and soften the overall look.

We also incorporated updated lighting, artwork, and textiles to bring warmth and cohesion, tying together the existing and new elements.

The result is a living room that feels complete, inviting, and well-balanced. We essentially transformed without starting over, and we fully aligned the living room with the rest of the home.

After

We reworked the layout and simplified the overall palette, allowing the space to feel lighter and more balanced. The existing bed was restyled with layered, neutral textiles to create a softer focal point, while the desk area was refined to feel more integrated and intentional.

We replaced the ceiling fixture with a more modern, sculptural light to bring a softer, more refined presence overhead. We re-introduced the black framed mirror, previously located from the foyer to enhance light and create a more cohesive moment within the room.

The result is a calm, cohesive bedroom that feels brighter, more refined, and thoughtfully composed, built around the pieces the client already loved.

After

We reworked the space entirely through layout, editing, and repositioning. The nightstands were brought in from the primary bedroom, artwork previously used elsewhere was repurposed to create a focal point, and the existing desk and bookcase were refined and better integrated into the layout.

The only new addition was a simple black chair, selected to anchor the workspace and bring contrast to the otherwise soft, neutral palette.

The result is a calm, organized bedroom that feels intentional, functional, and cohesive. We achieved all of this by working entirely with what was already available.

After

We kept the a vertical planter trellis in place and refined the area through layering and styling. By adding seating, soft textiles, and a few decorative elements, we transformed the space into something more functional and visually inviting.

The planters were subtly styled to feel more cohesive and balanced, creating a cleaner overall look.

The result is a small outdoor space that feels intentional, usable, and welcoming, an extension of the home rather than an overlooked corner.

This Brentwood, West Los Angeles condo presented a unique challenge: the home needed to feel fully staged for sale—while still functioning as a primary residence.

Our client lived in the space full-time and wanted to keep their core furniture pieces. At the same time, the home needed to appeal to buyers, photograph beautifully, and feel elevated, cohesive, and complete.

We approached this as a hybrid between styling and staging.

We refined what was already there—editing, repositioning, and layering new elements to shift the home's overall feel. We evaluated each room for scale, layout, and visual flow. We introduced updated furnishings, textiles, lighting, and decor to create a more polished, intentional environment while ensuring everything remained practical for daily living.

The result is a space that lives well and shows well.

It feels clean, modern, and thoughtfully composed in photos—yet remains comfortable and fully functional behind the scenes. Every detail works together to present the home in its best light, without disrupting the client’s day-to-day life.
