The original kitchen featured dark wood cabinetry, heavy stone surfaces, and warm-toned finishes that made the space feel dense and dated.

After

Without changing the footprint, we transformed the kitchen through strategic updates. Rather than replacing the cabinetry, we had it professionally painted to lighten the space. We guided the client in updating countertops and backsplash, removed dated glass-front cabinets, and introduced new hardware with subtle gold accents.

The result is a brighter, more modern kitchen with improved flow and a cohesive, refined feel.

We reworked the layout and established a strong focal point with a fully styled bed, layered textiles, and cohesive furnishings. A soft statement chandelier replaced the existing lighting, adding warmth and visual interest. And we also removed the old wooden shutters and replaced them with simply drapery to give a more dramatic and dreamy feel.

We sourced a mix of secondhand and discounted name-brand pieces to achieve a refined look while maintaining a clean, neutral palette.

The result is a bright, cohesive bedroom that feels complete, inviting, and well-balanced.

We replaced the existing ceiling fixture with a softer, more playful light and introduced cohesive furnishings, soft textiles, and subtle decorative accents to create a space that feels fresh and age-appropriate.

Every element was selected with practicality in mind—balancing beauty with everyday use. The result is a bright, functional bedroom that feels charming, cohesive, and well-suited for a growing child.

This Westwood condo was recently purchased in a traditional Mediterranean style, with heavy finishes that felt dated and visually overwhelming. The client wanted a lighter, more refined palette—introducing whites, soft neutrals, and subtle gold accents—without undertaking a full renovation.
